Hmh... Although ex PSA may say that some of their engines are running on Miller cycle I have my doubts because of compression ratio.
On the other hand ex FCA had Miller cycle engine up and running. 1.5 turbo with 160 HP.
Of course in HEV configuration such engine with electric...
This segment in US is all but compact for exterior dimensions. It's a proper midsize, more or less.
This is sole engine. At least for now. Classic Tavares induced move.
Punch and it's not a DCT, at least not a classic one with preselected gears.
From what I know it has 4 physical gears or reductor. Depending on application it has 6 or 7 operational gears.
For 48V MHEV it's 6, for PHEV it's 7.

Costs, French supplier base... But STLA Medium...
Unfortunately powertrain development takes a lot of time and a lot has been lost due to Manley and especially due to Tavares. Damage is irreversible.
I repeat something which I typed on another forum. Combined FCA+PSA marker share in Europe once reached almost 25% while now it's around 16%.

"We will have the new [Stellantis] CEO [on the] 23rd of June. There will be an announcement to define the alignment with him," Filici said.
"Then after this time, we will go ahead with the presentation of the strategic plan of Alfa Romeo and Maserati, together finding synergies where is...
But beware, the "new" Stellantis could review its technological synergy strategies. It has long been said that the strengths of the group's Italian brands take a dim view of the gradual replacement of their technologies by those whose roots come from PSA (especially with the Puretech scandal...
