The NASCAR rumor mill is running wide open, and one of the hottest storylines right now involves the possible return of the Ram brand to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. According to a report from The Daily Downforce, Ram may have locked in its first partner for its long-rumored 2026 comeback — GMS Racing.

I'll watch a few of these races next year just to support Ram. It's been quite a while since I last watched a NASCAR Truck Series race, though.

Well if they want wins, it’s not going to be with Spencer. Daddy buying you a ride has almost never panned out. Jr was the most successful but that’s because he was excellent on restrictive plate tracks. Everywhere else he basically sucked.

The partnership in Cup is Dodge and Legacy. Has to happen

I wouldn't doubt that, especially with the #43 attached to Legacy.

Ram and Dodge both need something to boost its sagging reputation and sales.
All in on their return as I have not followed NASCAR since Dodge left the series.
I also believe development of a new Dodge, Hemi Cuda as rumors hint, for NHRA Factory Stock would be a necessary requirement for Dodge going forward.
That Hurricane six Drag Pack was a joke.
Again, too obvious a step forward for a counter opinion. Just do it already !

Old, although I had forgotten Petty bought GMS. I believe GMS is its own separate entity for trucks though. Now I don’t know the ownership deets of course nor whether a potential manufacturer alliance can or could be different, like GMS with Ram in trucks and Legacy (which is the former Petty GMS) would stay Toyota like they currently are in Cup.

Could GMS trucks be a good sign for Cup and Legacy/Dodge? Two 7-time champs although Richard is really a name and face at this point, and previous Chrysler relationships in the glory days, almost writes itself. I think Jimmie has the backing financially as well so…..
