For the second consecutive year, AutoTrader has put the award-winning Chrysler Pacifica and iconic Jeep® Wrangler on its list of “10-Best Cars for Dog Lovers“. With today marking National Dog Day, the list arrives just in time to join the news that the Jeep brand has found its #JeepTopCanine contest winner, celebrating man’s best friend’s special day.
With this year’s pandemic, many are choosing to hit the road instead of traveling by air, making AutoTrader’s list even more appealing for dog owners.
“Trips around town or to local destinations have become an important part of our lives these last few months, and for many people that means bringing along their pets as they hit the road,” said Brian Moody, executive editor at Autotrader. “To help new-car buyers that are traveling with four-legged friends, we’ve carefully curated a list of the best cars that offer great comfort and safety features while also making the lives of pet parents just a little easier.”
The award adds another accolade for the Chrysler Pacifica nameplate, which has become the most award-winning minivan over the past four years taking more than 135 awards. The Pacifica’s Stow N’ Go seating allows the second and third-row seating arrangement to fold flat into the floor, giving room for kennels or even more area for your pet’s to roam around. The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica, will be even more canine-friendly thanks to the new FamCAM interior camera that allows those in the front to view occupants in the rear and even zoom in on doggie passengers.
The off-road-oriented Jeep Wrangler isn’t just a Trail-Rated adventure vehicle, but is the Jeep community’s top-choice for a canine-friendly ride. The Mopar brand offers a wide range of pet-friendly accessories ranging from lightweight Mopar pet kennels, as well as all-weather floor mats and cargo mats to protect their vehicle’s interior and offered on both the Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Wrangler, and several other FCA nameplates.
