Chrysler Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Stow ‘N Go at Detroit Auto Show

Innovative Seating System That Revolutionized Family Travel...

Chrysler is celebrating a significant milestone with the 20th anniversary of its groundbreaking Stow ‘N Go seating and storage system, which continues to set the standard for minivans. First introduced in 2005, Stow ‘N Go has transformed family travel by allowing the second- and third-row seats to fold flat into the floor with ease, offering unrivaled versatility and convenience.

Since its debut, more than 5 million minivans have been sold with Stow ‘N Go, making it a beloved feature among families. Chrysler is marking this anniversary with the Stow ‘N Go Challenge launch, debuting at the 2025 Detroit Auto Show from January 10-20, 2025. The challenge will allow participants to test the system’s efficiency and compete for prizes by quickly stowing gear into the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica Family Adventure Vehicle (FAV) Edition.

Christine Feuell, Chrysler CEO, highlighted the importance of Stow ‘N Go in Chrysler’s century-long legacy of innovation. “Stow ‘N Go seating is one of a lengthy list of Chrysler brand innovations that have made life easier and better for our customers,” said Feuell.

As Chrysler celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2025, the Stow ‘N Go system remains a key feature of the minivan lineup. It continues to be the only seating system in the segment that provides second- and third-row stowable seating, creating up to 140 cubic feet of interior space when the seats are folded. The system is available across the 2025 Pacifica, including the Select, Limited, and luxurious Pinnacle models. The system also applies to the entry-level Voyager model; however, it is not available on the Pacifica Hybrid due to the storage of the battery pack.

Chrysler first introduced Stow ‘N Go at the Windsor Assembly Plant in 2003, and it quickly became a game changer in the automotive industry. The system was refined over the years, with an update in 2011 that introduced a more efficient single-action folding mechanism. Despite advances in automotive technology, Stow ‘N Go has remained a standout feature that differentiates Chrysler minivans in a crowded market.
