Stellantis Mexico Reports A 53% Growth In Sales For November!

Dodge Journey & Durango Posted Best Nov. Since 2015...

Stellantis México is celebrating a successful November, with a 53% sales growth over November 2021. The automaker successfully sold 6,831 units, with the Ram brand being the best-selling brand during the month.

“In November Stellantis México continues with its sales acceleration in the industry in the country and grows 53% year on year,“ commented Carlos Quezada, Commercial Vice President of Stellantis Mexico. “Thanks to the great performance of its product portfolio in key segments, November is the second consecutive month in which the company grows above 50% compared to the same month last year.“
 
“In the SUV segment, we grew 49%, led by key products such as Dodge Journey and Fiat Pulse that set sales records, in pickups we achieved growth of 132% thanks to leading products such as Ram 700, and in vans, there was an increase in sales of 147%,“ continued Quezada. “With these results, Stellantis México continues its growth and gains market penetration compared to the previous year.”
 
Alfa Romeo & Chrysler –
 
2023 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle. (Chrysler).
For the month of November, Alfa Romeo and the Chrysler brand had combined sales of just 21 units. The Chrysler brand accounted for 17 of those units, while Alfa Romeo sold 4 vehicles.
 
Dodge – 
 
2023 Dodge Attitude SXT CVT. (Dodge Mexico).
Dodge reported sales of 1,415 units. Both the Dodge Journey and Durango posted their best November sales since 2015. Dodge Challenger, on the other hand, had a sales growth of 55% over the same time last year. The subcompact Dodge Attitude sedan, had a total of 406 units leave dealer lots.
 
FIAT – 
 
2023 Fiat Pulse Drive Plus. (FIAT).
The FIAT brand sold a total of 703 units for the month. A majority of those units sold were made up of the new Fiat Pulse from Brazil. The Pulse sold a total of 400 units for the month, proving that the B-segment UV is a key product for the Italian brand in the Mexican market. The Mobi city car, sold a total of 200 units as well for the month, while the Fiat Argo had a sales boost of 83% over the same time last year.
 
Jeep® –
 
2023 Jeep® JT Rubicon. (Jeep).
The Jeep® brand sold 1,394 units for the month. Up an amazing 42% compared to November 2021, the best November for the brand since 2017. The Jeep JT (Gladiator) reported its best sales month yet, while the Compass registered its best November since 2014. The Renegade increased its sales by 21% compared to the same time last year, thanks to the recent refresh as the Mexican market gets the Brazilian-built model.
 
The iconic Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee sold 259 units and 202 units, respectively.
 
Peugeot – 
 
2023 Peugeot e2008. (Peugeot).
The French brand reported sales of 519 vehicles. Peugeot Expert increased its sales by 153%, while Peugeot 3008 increased its sales by 10%. The Peugeot 2008 sold a total of 199 units for the month.
 
Ram – 
 
2023 Ram 700 Big Horn. (Ram).
Ram Mexico reported sales of 2,779 units, the best November in Mexico in the brand’s history. Ram light-duty pickups had a sales growth of 56% versus 2021. The subcompact Ram 700 pickup sold a whopping 1,148 units, showing that the Brazilian-built pickup is just as a success in Brazil for the FIAT as it is in Mexico. The Ram ProMaster Rapid and Ram 4000 sold 219 units and 201 units, respectively. The updated 2023 Ram ProMaster sold 81 units, while the Ram Heavy Duty sold 60 units.
