Check Out This 2006 Chrysler 300C SRT-8 With Only 1,034 Miles On The Odometer!

Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen a number of low-mile Chrysler Group vehicles up for sale or going across the auction block. But this one, however, may be the most beloved Chrysler vehicle of the last 20 years.

The Chrysler 300C SRT-8 was the pinnacle of American sedan performance in the mid-2000s. Chrysler created an instant icon with the Chrysler 300 Series (LX) and the SRT-8 brought even more performance to the large sedan. 

This example currently showcased on the automotive auction site “BringATrailer.com“, only has an amazing 1,034 miles on the odometer.

The Chrysler 300C SRT-8 help set itself apart from the standard 300C with several added exterior features. Modified front and rear fascias, helped direct airflow around and under the car. Unique ducts were added to help cool the brakes. A specially designed functional rear decklid spoiler increased downforce by 39% without increasing drag.

Other exterior features included body-color front and rear bumper inserts (they were chrome on the standard 300C), body-color grille insert with chrome collar, body-color mirrors and door handles, and unique SRT-8 badging that helped give the car a more sporty look.

Powered the 6.1-liter (370 cubic-inch) HEMI SRT V8 delivering 425 horsepower (317 kW) and 420 lb.-ft. (569 N•m) of torque, it was the highest output of any naturally aspirated V8 ever offered by the Chrysler Group at the time. It was mated to a Mercedes-sourced 5-speed W5A580 automatic transmission. 

The 300C SRT-8 also featured a number of chassis enhancements, including tuned dampers, specially tailored spring rates and suspension bushings, and larger-diameter anti-sway bars. The SRT-8 also featured a lowered ride height of half an inch and the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) had been customed tuned for the 300C SRT-8’s performance handling characteristics.

When it comes to braking, the SRT-8 was equipped with Brembo four-piston calipers all the way around. A set of 20-inch x 9-inch forged polished aluminum wheels wrapped in 245/45R20 all-season Goodyear Eagle RS-A rubber.

Ultimately, the car had a total price of $47,455 USD (including a $675 destination charge) when it left Evansville Chrysler of Evansville, Indiana. Since then the car was first registered in Indiana and spent time in Wisconsin where it was acquired by the seller in April 2022.

The car is now being offered with its manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, a spare key, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name. There is also an aftermarket rear window spoiler.
