Meet The Bravado Buffalo STX – Grand Theft Auto Online’s Version Of The Dodge Charger!

Supercharged And Ready For Mayhem...

WARNING – Some of the following material is NSFW…

In the violent streets of Los Santos, there is one new vehicle making waves with the latest update to Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online – the Bravado Buffalo STX. Bravado is the fictional American automaker in the GTA universe based on the Dodge brand. The brand slogan in the game says “a bold manner or a show of boldness intended to impress or intimidate”. Needless, the Bravado brand adopts a “bull” as its logo similar to how Dodge did with the “Ram” for several decades.

Vehicles like Bison (based on the Ram 1500), Banshee (based on the Viper), Gauntlet (based on the Challenger), and Buffalo S (based on the Charger SRT8), are some of the more popular offerings used by players in the game.

Despite GTA Online being on the market since October 2013, Rockstar Games continues to update missions, vehicles, and weapons to continue to keep players interested and it has worked. The game has stood the test of time and remains immensely popular to this day.

In its latest DLC called “The Contract”, Rockstar Games released the Buffalo STX, a new four-door sedan based on the current generation Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. Using design elements like the SRT-themed front and rear fascia styling, the Buffalo STX stays true to its Charger roots. Even the wheel design is almost identical to the wheels found on the Charger Scat Pack Widebody

Key differences from the Charger include a different C-pillar design and the exclusion of the quarter windows in the rear doors is missing. The taillight design has also been changed to look more like the real-life production units for the fifth-generation (GEN V) Dodge Viper GTS Coupe, while the stock hood design looks very similar to the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (S550). If you are like us, a simple trim to the mod shop and you can equip your Buffalo STX with a hood design taken from the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. The iconic door scallops on the Charger have also been changed to side vents like those found on newer BMW models.

The interior of the Buffalo STX is one used on several cars in the game, including the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye-inspired, Gauntlet Hellfire.

The Buffalo STX’s performance is at the top of the muscle car class in the game. Its performance is on par with the Gauntlet Hellfire. Powered by a supercharged V8, the Buffalo STX is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, with a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. If that doesn’t say Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, then nothing will.

As for its features, the Buffalo STX has instantly become one of the greatest assets in the game. It can be fitted with a Remote Control Unit, allowing the player to drive the vehicle remotely. It can also be equipped with a Missile Lock-On Jammer (can’t be fitted when the Remote Control Unit is installed).

Protection is key with the STX, and the Buffalo allows for an Armor Plating upgrade that adds armor paddings to the doors of the vehicle. The car can also be fitted with bullet-resistant windows, which are able to withstand 15 rounds from most firearms before being shattered.

When it comes to weapons the Buffalo STX can be equipped with two front-facing machine guns operated by the driver, which come out of the car’s grille, next to the dual-snorkel air intakes. They have decent firepower against players and vehicles with no or light armor but will struggle against heavily-armored vehicles. The vehicle has the option to install Slick Proximity Mines, which bursts a large amount of oil on the surface, causing vehicles passing over it to lose control. This deals no damage to both vehicles or players.

The Contact DLC is free with GTA Online. As for the Bravado Gauntlet STX, it will set you back $2,150,000 in GTA Online cash. Since its debut, we have found the car to be one of the best choices for completing missions in the highly unstable and violent atmosphere of the streets of San Andreas.

Even the sales description of the Buffalo STX says it all, “Forget whatever you think you know about keeping it in the family. Sure, the Buffalo and the Gauntlet were closely related. But in the grand old state of San Andreas, if two first cousins want to get to know each other better over a cup of engine oil that’s none of the government’s business, especially if the children are this good-looking.

Did anyone watch the fictional commercial? Not exactly flattering. But if you’re willing to take a joke or your skin isn’t too thin, it’s hilarious!
