CAUTION Driving Newer Chargers/Challengers/300s:

Paddle Shifter Issue Is A Common Issue...

If you are an owner of a Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger or Chrysler 300, there might be a chance you have noticed that certain vehicles have had an ongoing issue with their paddle shifters. If you press in the just the right place on the right paddle shifter, the car will downshift instead of upshifting into the next gear. We have gotten a few e-mails about this, however, our friend and contributor R/T Life experienced the problem himself.

In one of his most recent videos, he meets up with some of his Mopar friends to experience the issue in a newer R/T Scat Pack model. Hopefully, the team at Dodge is watching because it seems that the more we read into the situation, the more common this issue is. Not only could it potentially be bad to be using the paddles to upshift and high RPMs and accidentally downshift the car into a lower gear, but it could be dangerous in some driving conditions (especially for those who take their Chargers, Challengers or 300s to the track.
