Auto World Unveils All-New 1:64 1968 Dodge Coronet Diecast

A Mopar Classic Gets The True 1:64 Treatment For The First Time

Auto World has just pulled the cover off something pretty special for diecast collectors and Mopar fans alike—their all-new casting of the 1968 Dodge Coronet in TRUE 1:64 scale. This is the very first time the ’68 Coronet has been done in 1:64 with this level of accuracy and versatility, and it’s clear they went all-out to get it right.

The all-new casting is completely built from the ground up and offers an insane amount of customization options. There are two body styles to start with—a sleek Hardtop and a Convertible. For the drop-top crowd, you even get an optional top-up version, giving collectors display flexibility we usually don’t see at this scale.

Where it really gets cool is the mix-and-match capability with interchangeable front and rear pieces. That means you can recreate your favorite Coronet variant—whether it’s the R/T, the more refined 500, or the legendary Super Bee. On top of that, Auto World added different hood options (raised or flat), two engine choices (the iconic 426 HEMI or the 383/440 big blocks), and even separate air cleaner parts to match.

For those who like something a bit off the beaten path, they also threw in a police light bar and speaker setup. That opens the door to some seriously cool custom builds like vintage law enforcement replicas or movie car tributes.

This all-new Coronet casting will make its debut as a 2025 Auto World Store Exclusive as part of Release 2 under item number #AW64512. Production specs may still change slightly, but what’s already been shown is nothing short of impressive. Whether you’re into factory-correct builds or wild customs, this new casting is going to be a must-have.
