The supercharged Ram 1500 TRX might be the so-called “apex predator” when it comes to performance off-road trucks, but the “snake bitten” Ram SRT-10 was the “baddest” pickup on the planet in the mid-2000s. Offered for only three model years, the Ram SRT-10 became an instant classic for the performance pickup genre.
Powered by an 8.3-liter (505 cubic-inch) VIPER V-10, this Ram SRT-10 Regular Cab was produced in the pickup’s final year of production. This 2006 model is currently up for grabs on BringATrailer.com and only has 22,000 miles on the odometer.
Finished in Infereno Red, the Ram SRT-10 features a front air dam with integrated fog lights as well as a domed hood with an integrated scoop. It is also equipped with a fiberglass tonneau cover with an SRT-specific rear spoiler, lower body cladding, a sliding rear window, a chrome fuel filler door, and heated side mirrors with chrome housings.
Equipped with a set of 22-inch polished aluminum wheels riding on 305/40 General Grabber UHP rubber, the SRT-10 rides on a lowered suspension and stiffer springs, as well as an additional rear-axle shock to eliminate axle hop.
Inside, there is Dark Slate Gray leather with synthetic suede inserts with SRT-10 embroidery on the headrests. There are Silver-colored accents, including the dash and door panels. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, cruise control, an Infinity CD stereo with a subwoofer, a 6-disc CD-changer, a push-button ignition switch, metal pedals, and a Hurst shifter.
For Ram SRT-10 duty, the VIPER V-10 is rated at 500 horsepower and 525 lb.-ft. of torque and mated to a 6-speed Tremec T-56 manual transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Dana 60 rear axle with a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists history in Georgia, New Jersey, Arizona, and Montana.
The auction will be live until Tuesday, September 27th. For more information, photos, or to bid, you can visit the truck on the BringATrailer.com website.
