AMW1025 Gladiator Impresses With 1,025 Horsepower and Luxurious Upgrades...
America’s Most Wanted 4×4 (AMW4x4), based in Holly, Michigan, has once again captured the spotlight with their latest powerhouse vehicle, a custom 2024 Jeep Gladiator. Known for their expertise in creating some of the most formidable HEMI®-powered Jeep® vehicles, AMW4x4’s newest masterpiece, the AMW 1025, recently sold for an impressive $330,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auction.
A Gladiator Like No Other –
Starting as a 2024 Jeep Gladiator Mojave X, this vehicle was transformed into the AMW 1025, a beast on wheels. At its heart is a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI HELLEPHANT C170 V8 engine, the same one found in the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170. This engine gives the Gladiator a whopping 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb.-ft. of torque, with the capability to run on E85 fuel.
Built for Performance –
The transformation wasn’t just about swapping engines. AMW4x4 equipped the Gladiator with an 8-speed TorqueFlite 8HP95 automatic transmission, known for its durability and performance, borrowed from the high-performance Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
The AMW 1025 Package includes a range of upgrades to enhance performance and durability:
- AMW 8LUG Front Crate Axle with ARB® Air Locker® and 4.88 gearing
- Spindled 60 Front Axle Assembly with ARB® Air Locker® and 4.88 gearing
- Factory Locker Switch Integration Adapter
- Stainless Steel Braided Brake Line Kit for the front
- 1350CV Long Travel Front Driveline with cold-forged universal joints
The rear axle upgrades mirror the front’s enhancements:
- AMW 8LUG Rear Crate Axle with ARB® Air Locker® and 4.88 gearing
- Spindled 80 Rear Axle Assembly with ARB® Air Locker® and 4.88 gearing
- Spindled 80 Rear Axle Truss System for suspension geometry and pinion curve correction
- 1410CV Long Travel Rear Driveline with cold-forged universal joints
The braking system was also significantly upgraded with the AMW 8LUG Brake Package, featuring 8-piston brake calipers for both front and rear.
Luxury Meets Off-Road Capability –
AMW4x4’s attention to detail extends beyond performance. The AMW 1025 boasts a premium interior with a carbon fiber ergonomic steering wheel, sound deadening, protective flooring, and vented inner fenders. The vehicle also includes aluminum bumpers with a WARN winch, making it as practical as it is luxurious.
Special touches in the interior include premium leather seats, branded shift knobs, and an instrument panel with a 200 mph sweep and 7000 rpm gauge. The vehicle is completed with a build specification stainless tailgate plaque that includes the build number, date, powertrain serial numbers, vehicle registry, and VIN.
A Showstopper at Barrett-Jackson –
The AMW 1025 significantly impacted the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auction, where it sold for $330,000 in a no-reserve format. This impressive sale price highlights the vehicle’s appeal and the high regard for AMW4x4’s craftsmanship among car enthusiasts and collectors.
