Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake Kicks Off Las Vegas GP With New Livery

Inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix Is This Weekend...

The much-anticipated return of Formula One (F1) to the vibrant streets of Las Vegas this weekend heralds not only a historic event but also a unique celebration for the Alfa Romeo F1 team. As the city prepares to host its first F1 race since 1982, all eyes are on the exhilarating street course that winds through the iconic Las Vegas Strip. Amidst the high stakes and adrenaline-pumping anticipation, Alfa Romeo has revealed a spectacular surprise: a specially crafted livery designed to captivate both racing enthusiasts and fans of design alike.

This remarkable livery, meticulously fashioned by the Alfa Romeo Design Studio, pays homage to the Entertainment Capital of the World, drawing inspiration from the opulent casinos and the allure of card games that define the city’s essence. Adorned in a striking all-black hue, the Alfa Romeo car stands as a canvas, embellished with playing cards featuring red four-leaf clovers and Heart suits. A remarkable twist manifests as the Quadrifoglio symbol, an emblem synonymous with Alfa Romeo’s highest-performance creations, replacing the typical three-leaf clover for the Clubs suit. Glistening metallic gold and vibrant red accents complete this original and captivating design.

Not confined solely to the car, this exclusive livery extends its reach to the race suits of the Alfa Romeo drivers, weaving together a cohesive celebration of speed and style. Gold Quadrifoglio logos adorning the driver’s chests commemorate the brand’s performance trim anniversary. At the same time, the gilded hues elegantly highlight the drivers’ names and numbers, adding a touch of prestige to the racing arena.

Does it bother anyone that Alfa Romeo has a Formula One team and Dodge sits on the sidelines in NASCAR ? You would think there is some bias in the decision making at Stellantis, but not me. Not Mopar Willy. I know from reliable Stellantis sources that Dodge is deep into negotiations with NASCAR and the next generation HEMI Cup engine is almost ready to launch.
And elephants can fly.
