Alfa Romeo Electrifies Miami Art Week With Iconic Design And Bold Creative Collaborations
A Legendary Italian Brand Blends Art, Racing, and Modern Style
Alfa Romeo didn’t just show up to Miami Art Week — it made a statement. With the city transformed into a global hub for high-end galleries, collectors, and art fans, the iconic Italian brand brought its own blend of craftsmanship, history, and design to both Art Basel and BitBasel in a way that felt fresh, modern, and unmistakably Alfa.

The week began with an exclusive December 2nd celebration at Hagerty Garage + Social, where more than 200 guests stepped into a curated walk through 115 years of Alfa Romeo heritage. This immersive display centered around the ultra-exclusive 33 Stradale, the upcoming 2026 Tonale, and a lineup of historically significant race cars. One of the biggest draws was the legendary Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI, the same machine that “secured the 1993 DTM championship under the command of driver Nicola Larini.”
But the cars were only part of the appeal. The event also highlighted the work of Italian artist and photographer Luca Artioli, whose signature intentional camera movement (ICM) style turns Alfa Romeo vehicles into emotional bursts of color and motion. As described in the original release, Artioli’s pieces “reimagine Alfa Romeo vehicles as impressionistic studies of speed, light, and color,” perfectly matching the brand’s reputation for emotional design.

Alfa Romeo kept the momentum going from December 3rd to 7th at the Sagamore Hotel as part of its partnership with BitBasel. The brand transformed the Collins Avenue valet entrance into a high-impact art environment, pairing the 33 Stradale with a custom Tonale Art Car wrapped in graphics inspired by BitBasel’s sixth anniversary. According to Alfa Romeo, the installation “delivered one of the week’s most photographed and talked-about moments,” thanks to the more than 100,000 pedestrians who passed through the area during Art Basel.
With ultra-rare halo cars, modern electrified products, and bold art collaborations all sharing the same spotlight, Alfa Romeo’s approach stood out in a crowded field of luxury brands trying to capture the attention of Art Week’s trend-setting audience. The result was a powerful showcase of how Italian heritage and modern innovation can intersect — not only in the automotive world but also in contemporary culture.

Alfa Romeo used Miami Art Week to remind enthusiasts, creatives, and collectors why the brand continues to resonate after more than a century: distinctive design, a rich racing legacy, and a willingness to push boundaries remain core to its identity.
