The Goodwood Festival of Speed, held from July 11-14, 2024, will feature the debut of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, marking its first public appearance outside of Italy. This renowned event, known for its showcase of vintage and modern vehicles, will also highlight the Alfa Romeo Junior in the “Electric Avenue” section, dedicated to electrified cars.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed, first held in 1993, has become a major event for automotive enthusiasts worldwide. Initially focusing on vintage cars, it now includes exhibitions, roadshows, and special stages for present-day models. Major automakers use this event as an international platform to unveil their latest creations, making it a key date on the automotive calendar.
The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale will be displayed in the “Supercar Paddock” throughout the event. This new custom-built model recently made headlines at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, an event known for showcasing the most beautiful vintage cars and prototypes. At Villa d’Este, the 33 Stradale won the prestigious Design Concept Award, reinforcing its status as a masterpiece of automotive design.
Inspired by the iconic Tipo 33 from the 1960s, the new 33 Stradale is a two-seater coupé produced in only 33 units. This model combines Alfa Romeo’s rich heritage with modern technology and design, offering a unique driving experience. Each car is handcrafted using artisanal processes reminiscent of Renaissance workshops and the 1960s Italian coachbuilders.
In addition to the 33 Stradale, Alfa Romeo will showcase the Alfa Romeo Junior in the “Electric Avenue” section. This area is dedicated to electrified cars, highlighting the automotive industry’s shift towards sustainable technology. The Alfa Romeo Junior made its dynamic debut to the international press just days before the Goodwood Festival, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to innovation.
