Everything You Need To Know About The 2026 Dodge Charger Drag Pak

Direct Connection Bring Backs The Hustle Stuff Name, For It's Newest Drag Racer

When it comes to factory drag racing, Dodge doesn’t play around—and the all-new 2026 Dodge Charger Hustle Stuff Drag Pak proves it. This marks the first time in history that the Charger name has worn the “Drag Pak” badge, and it’s also the most advanced, most powerful version ever developed by Direct Connection.

Limited to just 50 turnkey race cars, the Hustle Stuff Drag Pak was built to dominate NHRA Factory Stock Showdown-class racing while honoring Mopar’s deep drag racing heritage. Fully certified, dyno-tested, and engineered for hardcore racers, this machine represents the absolute peak of factory-built quarter-mile performance.

Race-Built, Track-Only, 100% Mopar –

Like all true Drag Paks, the Hustle Stuff is not street legal and carries no VIN. Every unit will be built and race-prepped by Riley Technologies in Mooresville, North Carolina, the same facility known for working closely with SRT on championship-winning efforts. Each car will be delivered directly to customers from Riley’s shop.

Powertrain: The Heart Of The Beast –

Under the hood, the Hustle Stuff Drag Pak hides a hand-built 5.8-liter (354 cubic-inch) HEMI® V8 with a Mopar cast aluminum block, billet steel main caps, and forged internals including billet crankshaft, H-beam rods, and 2618 forged pistons. Topping it off is a Whipple 3.0-liter twin-screw supercharger force-feeding air through a 109mm billet throttle body and stainless steel long-tube headers.

Every engine is dyno-validated and tuned using a Holley Dominator ECU paired with a Racepak Smartwire module, ensuring peak performance and reliability under full boost.

Fueling is handled by an Aeromotive brushless pump, dual inline filters, and an ATL SFI-certified drag fuel cell. Cooling duties fall to a C&R lightweight radiator with an electric water pump, keeping this supercharged monster consistent through every pass.

Transmission & Driveline –

The Hustle Stuff Drag Pak is fitted with a Coan Racing XLT 3-speed automatic transmission featuring lightweight 300M internals, a Reid SFI case, and M&M aluminum shifter. A 9.65-inch billet torque converter transfers power to a Mark Williams modular 9-inch rear axle with a 4.30:1 final drive ratio and 40-spline gun-drilled axles.

Connecting it all is a 4-inch 7075 aluminum driveshaft with heavy-duty 1350 Spicer u-joints. This setup ensures rock-solid reliability and explosive launches.

Suspension & Brakes –

The chassis features a NHRA 7.50 ET-certified SFI 25.5E chromoly cage, an adjustable four-link rear suspension, coilover shocks, and a custom K-member up front.

The braking system uses Mark Williams lightweight four-piston calipers, cross-drilled rotors, and aluminum hats. Steering comes courtesy of a Flaming River 15:1 manual rack, providing direct control and reduced weight.

Lightweight Carbon Fiber Body –

Weight savings were prioritized throughout the build, with a body composed almost entirely of autoclaved carbon fiber. Components include the doors, hood, front fascia, hatch, and bumper supports, paired with Lexan windows.

Inside, the cockpit is trimmed with carbon fiber instrument closeouts, Sabelt lightweight racing seats, and Sabelt harnesses, ensuring both comfort and safety under high G-forces.

Race-Ready Electronics –

The Hustle Stuff Drag Pak features a Racepak 6.86-inch digital dash, Racepak V300SD data logger, and Holley Dominator ECU. This system manages everything from launch control to fuel mapping and allows racers to record every run with precision.

Safety & Certification –

I guess Hurricane X wasn’t good enough.

Big news. It fits, it’s coming and it can restore the magic of Dodge.
Dodge needs to expand the performance themed lineup.
1- Challenger/Cuda shorter muscle car with very different styling from Charger but the same combo of engines. Effectively a shorter Charger spin off.
2-Midsize STLA lineup Coupe or hatchback, Hurricane 4, off Compass. Belvidere facility.
3- Compact STLA sports roadster/ fastback Hurricane 4. Need a facility in U.S.
4- Viper built Anywhere. Standard HO Six Pack power, Turbo Hurricane 6. Supercharged Hurricane 6. Maybe a Hemi.
5- SUV offerings Compact Hornet(Compass) Midsize Stealth,(Cherokee)Full size Durango. (Grand Cherokee). Ditto the above.
The spinoffs are fully there. Do it.

Remember this is a purpose-built race car. This features a completely unique front cradle which allows the HEMI to sit back and much lower in the front of the car. Also it doesn't have all the production stuff under the hood, windshield wiper solvent, cooling stuff, fuse panel, and what not. A HEMI will fit, but this package is different, a production one would require a different setup completely and would look much different.

That’s why the front fenders on Charger SEMA concept, IMO, is to widen the engine bay to get the HEMI fits for the production model
