Jeep® Avenger To Be Built In Brazil Starting In 2026
Stellantis Adds Fourth Jeep Model To Porto Real Plant

Stellantis has officially confirmed that the subcompact Jeep® Avenger will roll off the assembly line at its Porto Real Automotive Center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, beginning in 2026. This announcement solidifies the Avenger as the fourth Jeep model to be produced in the country, joining the Renegade, Compass, and Commander in Jeep’s local lineup.
A Big Investment In Brazil’s Future –

The move comes as part of Stellantis’ R$ 3 billion (about $540 million USD) investment package dedicated to the Porto Real plant between 2025 and 2030. The funds will not only support the launch of the Avenger but also expand production capabilities, modernize technology, and strengthen Brazil’s automotive supply chain.
Earlier this year, Stellantis added 300 new hires to the Porto Real team, showing a clear commitment to the region. On top of that, five new suppliers are scheduled to begin operations in the area, with two of them setting up shop directly inside the industrial park by 2026.
Jeep Avenger: Global Success, Local Opportunity –

The Jeep Avenger has already made waves globally, debuting in Europe as a stylish, compact SUV designed for urban mobility while staying true to Jeep’s adventurous DNA. Its success abroad has set the stage for local production in Brazil, giving Jeep an even stronger foothold in one of the most SUV-hungry markets in the world.
With production starting in 2026, the Avenger will round out Jeep’s Brazilian offerings, slotting below the Renegade while delivering technology, efficiency, and capability in a smaller package. For Jeep, it’s a strategic move that allows the brand to compete more directly in the subcompact SUV market, where demand continues to grow.
Jeep’s Commitment To Brazil –

Jeep has had a remarkable decade in Brazil, selling over 1.1 million units since its official arrival in 2015. Executives say the Avenger will strengthen the brand’s long-term connection with Brazilian customers by offering another locally built vehicle tailored to market needs.
“This is more than just producing a new model,” said Stellantis South America President Emanuele Cappellano. “It’s a sign of our confidence in Brazil’s role as a key hub for Jeep in the region.”
Looking Ahead –

By 2026, Brazilian buyers will have access to four distinct Jeep nameplates, all locally built, spanning from entry-level to premium. The Avenger’s arrival highlights Stellantis’ strategy of investing heavily in Latin America while keeping Jeep at the forefront of SUV innovation.
