2026 Ram 1500 Adds Four New Colors, Including Canyon Lake

New No-Cost Paint Option Brings Earthy Vibes to Crew Cab Models

Ram is freshening up its color palette for the 2026 model year, giving buyers even more ways to personalize their trucks. Among the four new exterior colors added to the lineup is a standout shade called Canyon Lake (paint code PJ7)—a unique, earthy tone that leans somewhere between gray and green. And the best part? It won’t cost you a dime extra.

Canyon Lake might ring a bell with Mopar fans. It shares a paint code name with Char Gold II Satin Glow, a Chrysler color from the ’90s. But don’t expect a flashback gold tone—this one’s more muted, more modern, and definitely geared toward today’s truck buyers who are looking for something subtle but still eye-catching.

So, where can you get it? According to the latest dealer info, Canyon Lake is only available on Ram 1500 Crew Cab models with the 5-foot, 7-inch box. However, it looks like you’ll have to skip the RamBox option for now, as the color isn’t compatible with the lockable bedside storage setup, at least not yet.

Here’s a breakdown of what trims can wear this fresh new color:

Canyon Lake will also be available on higher trims like Limited, Longhorn, and RHO, but those will be late availability, meaning you’ll have to wait a bit longer if you’ve got your eye on one of those models.

Overall, it’s great to see Ram continuing to offer interesting, modern color options—especially when they come at no extra charge. Canyon Lake has the kind of tone that blends in with nature but still stands out in a sea of white, black, and silver pickups.

If you’re looking to get your hands on one of these trucks, contact your local Ram dealer. Order banks for the 2026 Ram 1500 (DT) are now open, so it’s a good time to lock in your build.
