Antonio Filosa Celebrated Chrysler’s 100th Anniversary in Windsor
Future CEO Joins Workers Building Chrysler’s Only Minivans
Antonio Filosa, the soon-to-be CEO of Stellantis, spent Chrysler’s 100th anniversary right where the brand’s future is being built—inside the Windsor Assembly Plant. Joined by Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell and other top Stellantis leaders, Filosa visited the Canadian facility yesterday to honor the past, celebrate the present, and show support for the people building Chrysler’s only remaining vehicles: the Pacifica, Grand Caravan (for Canada), and Voyager (for the U.S.).
During his visit, Filosa met with long-serving employees, retirees, and even multiple generations of autoworkers—all of whom contribute daily to building America’s best-selling minivan. In a special moment, he helped unveil a new commemorative mural created by a Windsor Assembly employee to mark the 100th milestone. Workers were invited to place their thumbprints and sign the mural to symbolize their role in the company’s legacy.

“Today, we recognize and honor Walter P. Chrysler’s vision that has led to a full century of innovation, engineering excellence, and beautiful design, all at an accessible price,” Filosa told the team gathered inside the plant. “This isn’t a milestone we’ve reached on our own—it’s a credit to every worker that came before us, every dealership, every family that chose us.”
With just three variants in its single minivan lineup—Pacifica, Voyager, and Grand Caravan—the Chrysler brand continues to lean on its legacy of innovation. From the early days of introducing the powerful HEMI® V8 engine to pioneering the modern minivan in 1984, Chrysler has played a key role in shaping the American automotive industry. The brand has sold over 15 million minivans since inventing the segment, and popular features like Stow ‘n Go seating remain unique selling points.

To mark its centennial, Chrysler also announced a 100th Anniversary Edition of the Pacifica. It features Semi-Gloss Granite Crystal accents, exclusive polished Luster Gray wheels, and comes in patriotic red, white, or blue paint. The special edition will be available with either a gasoline or plug-in hybrid powertrain and is now open for orders.
As he prepares to take the reins as Stellantis CEO later this month, Filosa emphasized his commitment to Chrysler’s future: “Each one of us can take great pride in having a role in the company’s legacy,” he said. “Together, we’ve contributed to a century of bold ideas, iconic vehicles, and unforgettable moments. And we’re not done yet. We will continue to carry forward our founder Walter P. Chrysler’s vision of leading with new innovations, engineering excellence, and continued investment in the future.”
