1,000 HP HELLEPHANT-Powered Jeep® Gladiator Hits SBX Cars
This 2023 Jeep® Gladiator AMW1000 Is As Extreme As It Gets

If you think you’ve seen it all when it comes to crazy off-road builds, think again. SBX Cars — the auction site backed by YouTube star Supercar Blondie — is listing one of the wildest machines we’ve ever seen: a 2023 Jeep® Gladiator AMW1000 stuffed with a 1,000-horsepower HELLEPHANT V8.

Built by America’s Most Wanted 4×4 (AMW4x4) out of Holly, Michigan, this isn’t your average Gladiator with an engine swap. It’s a full-blown re-engineered beast designed to dominate trails, dunes, or just about anything else in its way. Only 100 HELLEPHANT crate motors were ever sold by Mopar, and this truck has one living under its custom-vented hood — making it a seriously rare find.

The HELLEPHANT is a supercharged 7.0-liter (426 cubic-inch) HEMI® V8 based on the HELLCAT platform, but tuned way up to an insane 1,000 horsepower and 950 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a heavy-duty 8-speed automatic — the same transmission found in heavy hitters like the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170. Power gets sent to all four wheels through a Rubicon transfer case and monster-grade 8-lug axles featuring ARB air lockers.

Rolling on 40-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires wrapped around forged AMW beadlock wheels, this Gladiator is ready for serious work. It also sports a Punk’n Metallic paint job, matching color accents everywhere, engraved HELLEPHANT LED headlights, and a bobbed 10-inch shortened bed with a hard tonneau cover for tighter departure angles.

Inside, it’s just as custom. The cabin gets premium black Tuscany leather with orange stitching, AMW logos, a carbon fiber steering wheel with paddle shifters, and even a special AMW-branded tach and speedometer. Tech includes an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto™, built-in navigation, a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, and a booming Alpine audio system.

Everything about this truck screams high-dollar build — and it should. The base cost for a new AMW1000 like this runs about $260,000, and with options, this one topped $300,000.
At the time of cataloging, it shows just 1,988 miles (3,199 km) on the odometer. It’s had only one owner, a clean CARFAX, and minor wear noted only on the front bumper and seat.

You also get two key fobs with the sale, but let’s be honest — the real key here is to hold onto the steering wheel tight. This HELLEPHANT-powered Gladiator AMW1000 isn’t just rare, it’s an absolute rocket ship wrapped in a rock-crawling, trail-tackling body.
If you want something that truly stands out — whether on the trail, at the local Cars and Coffee, or just ripping down the highway — you won’t find anything crazier or cooler than this AMW-built HELLEPHANT Gladiator on SBX Cars.
