2027 Ram Dakota Pricing Announced In Argentina
Ram Finally Gives Argentina The Midsize Pickup It Deserves
Ram Argentina has officially re-entered the midsize pickup truck segment with the introduction of the 2027 Ram Dakota — and this time, it’s local. Built at the Stellantis Truck Hub in Córdoba, the Dakota isn’t just a name revival. It’s a strategic move to fill the gap between the successful compact Rampage and the brand’s beloved Ram 1500. The idea is simple: give buyers a real truck that’s capable, durable, and spacious, without the size penalty of a full-size rig.
With Warlock and Laramie trims rolling out first, Ram is aiming straight at both the adventurous outdoor crowd and drivers who want a more premium daily-use experience.
The Cost of the Premium Midsize Dakota –

Ram Argentina has confirmed pricing, and it lands right where a midsize Ram should. It’s important to note that in South America, Ram positions itself as a premium brand. Pricing for the 2027 Ram Dakota Warlock starts at AR$69,000,000 (about $47,370 USD), while the Dakota Laramie begins at AR$71,000,000 (about $48,750 USD). When you consider the standard diesel powertrain and advanced 4×4 capability included across the lineup, the value proposition becomes even stronger.
For those wondering how the Dakota compares to its more mainstream sibling, the FIAT Titano — which shares the same platform and powertrain — the price gap clearly shows Ram’s premium positioning in South America.

The Titano lineup looks like this:
- Endurance MT (Manual Transmission) 4×2 – AR$41,108,000 (about $28,225 USD)
- Endurance MT 4×4 – AR$43,474,000 (or $29,850 USD)
- Freedom MT 4×4 – AR$47,940,000 (around $32,915 USD)
- Freedom Plus AT8 (8-Speed Auto) 4×4 – AR$52,609,000 (or $36,120 USD)
- Ranch AT 4×4 – AR$56,770,000 (or about $38,975)
So in comparison, Dakota’s pricing clearly reflects the Ram brand’s more premium approach and elevated equipment levels.
Built To Do More Than Just Look Good –

Dimensionally, the Dakota hits the sweet spot for Argentina’s roads and work environments. At 5,356 mm (211 in) long, it provides the bed space and cabin room midsize buyers expect — without feeling oversized. The cargo box offers 1,210 liters (42.7 cu-ft) of volume and supports up to 1,020 kg (2,248 lbs) of payload. Towing maxes out at 3,500 kg (7,716 lbs), putting Dakota right near the top of the segment. It’s versatile enough to haul construction gear all week and pull a trailer into the mountains on Sunday.
A Diesel That Delivers –

Every 2027 Dakota is powered by Stellantis’ new 2.2-liter Multijet II I4 turbodiesel producing 200 horsepower and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. Mated to a ZF-sourced 8HP50 8-speed automatic, the engine has the guts to handle towing and off-road duty while remaining efficient on the highway. Drivers can stick with rear-wheel-drive (RWD) for a more planted road feel or tap into 4×4 with a low-range gearbox when things get technical. Between the solid torque curve and respectable off-road geometry, Dakota was engineered to put in real work.
Interior: Comfortable, Tech-Forward, And Purposefully Designed –

Inside, the Dakota feels like a modern midsize pickup. Leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, and dual-zone climate control come standard — features you don’t always find in midsize competitors. The cabin tech is anchored by a bright 12.3-inch (a non-Uconnect 5) touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™, backed by a 7-inch digital instrument cluster that keeps the important info front and center. Wireless charging, plenty of ports, and clever storage solutions make the interior feel both functional and premium.
Safety That Enhances Every Drive –

Ram packed the Dakota with a full suite of driver-assistance tech to match its capability. Six airbags, stability control, and four-wheel disc brakes are standard, but it doesn’t stop there. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keep Assist, Blind-Spot Monitoring (BSM), and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) help prevent accidents before they happen. Laramie adds rear cross-traffic detection — something drivers will appreciate in tight urban lots or hidden driveways. Whether you’re navigating Buenos Aires traffic or cruising beyond the city, Dakota brings reassurance along for the ride.
The Right Truck, At The Right Time –

The 2027 Ram Dakota arrives perfectly aligned with what Argentine truck buyers have been asking for. Local manufacturing boosts availability and serviceability, pricing hits the sweet spot in the premium segment, and capability lives up to the Ram name. This isn’t a truck that simply joins the midsize market — it raises expectations for what the segment should offer in Argentina.
Now again, keep in mind — this is NOT the midsize truck Ram will be producing for the North American market. Our version will be an entirely different product, built at the Toledo Assembly Complex in Ohio beginning in late 2027. With that said, the Argentine-built Dakota plays a very strategic role for Ram in South America, strengthening the brand’s regional presence and filling a segment that has been missing from the lineup for far too long.
