2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 Convertible Heads To Mecum

1,025-HP Droptop with 22 Miles Set for July 12th Auction

Here’s one you don’t see every day—especially not with a soft top. Up for grabs at the Mecum Florida Summer Special 2025 is a jaw-dropping 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 Convertible, set to roll across the auction block on Saturday, July 12th. This particular Demon 170 is number 2,891 out of just 3,300 ever built, and it’s got only 22 mileson the odometer.

Under the factory Air-Grabber hood sits Dodge’s most powerful engine ever: the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® C-170 V8, pumping out 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque on E85 fuel. Even on pump gas (E10), it still delivers 900 horsepower. It features a 3.0-liter IHI supercharger, a 105mm throttle body, and a trick dual-fuel system that adjusts power based on how much ethanol is in the tank. Power goes to the rear wheels through an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, backed by a transbrake, a 3.09 rear end, and 43-spline half shafts.

But what makes it even more special is its factory-authorized convertible conversion, completed by the pros at Droptop Customs in Florida. That’s right, this is no backyard chop job. Backed by Dodge, the conversion turns this already fierce muscle car into an open-air thrill ride.

Loaded with features like 170 Alcantara seats, carbon fiber interior trim, the Premium Group, and an 18-speaker Harman Kardon™ sound system, this beast combines world-class muscle with high-end luxury. The SRT Power Chiller, adaptive suspension, line lock, launch control, and Brembo brakes round it out for max track-ready performance.

Painted in TorRed, this one-off Demon 170 droptop is likely to make serious waves when it hits the block.
