2019 Dodge Journey SE Gets Some Nice Upgrades:
Success Of The V6 Value Package Leads To More Standard Equipment...
Dodge recently released a value package for their Dodge Journey crossover. The package was called the V6 Value Package (dealer code 28D), which offered Dodge Journey SE buyers a chance to get the 283 horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 on the front-wheel drive version of popular crossover. This package also equipped the Journey with the “performance front and rear fascias”, which is the front end and rear bumper found on the higher trim level Journeys. The package also included fog lights, touring suspension, LED “ring of fire” tail lights, ParkView rear backup camera, auto-dimming rear view mirror with display and 17-inch wheel covers.
While the package has been extremely popular, Dodge has reconfigured it’s 2019 Dodge Journey lineup to include most of the V6 Value Package as standard equipment on the SE model. The 2019 Dodge Journey SE standard content now includes the “performance front and rear fascias”, fog lamps, three-zone temperature control, fold-away power heated body-color mirrors and LED rear tail lamps. Journey SE front-wheel drive models will now be available with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 and is $2,200 less than the 2018 model with a starting U.S. MSRP of $25,195.
Currently, September will be the last month for dealers to order 2018 inventory. Dodge will built the 2018 model Journey until December. Dealers will be able to order the 2019 Dodge Journey in October. 2019 models will start production in January and will start showing up at Dodge dealers in February.
