Already the most capable production vehicle in the world, the 2020 Jeep® Wrangler is adding more capability and specifically more protection from the most severe, rugged off-road terrain with the return of the Wrangler Rubicon Recon nameplate. Yes, the Jeep® brand is bringing back one of the brand’s most popular special edition packages for its iconic Jeep Wrangler for the 2020 model year.

Based on the Rubicon model, the Rubicon Recon adds even more capability to the Wrangler with an array of extra goodies aimed at the off-road community. Improved off-road prowess is a result of a 33-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires, enhanced rock rails, and heavy-duty front and rear steel bumpers. Power comes from a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with eTorque technology that is rated a best-in-class 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque and mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission.
