If you’re a fan of turbocharged ’80s performance with a splash of Japanese engineering and a Mopar badge, you’re going to want to check this out. A 1987 Chrysler Conquest TSi—showing just 36,000 miles—is currently live on BringATrailer.com and is being sold at no reserve. Bidding wraps up Sunday, July 13 at 2:37 p.m. EDT.

Finished in factory PX1 Black, this widebody Conquest TSi stands out with its flared fenders, pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, and a factory rear spoiler. A subtle HKS exhaust setup out back hints at the performance potential under the hood, while the original 16-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in Goodyear rubber and sit in front of four-wheel disc brakes.
Inside, you’ll find a clean black leather interior with powered accessories, including power windows and a cassette stereo complete with a nine-band graphic equalizer—classic ’80s flair. The seats show light wear consistent with the mileage. One thing to note: the air conditioning doesn’t currently work, but hey, pop the windows and enjoy some turbo whistle instead.

The real star here is the turbocharged 2.6-liter G54B I4 under the hood. From the factory, it produced 176 horsepower and a healthy 223 lb-ft of torque, all sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. A few maintenance items were knocked out in 2024, including a new fuel pump, fuel filter, and oil change, making it ready to hit the road or the next Cars & Coffee.
The seller picked this car up in 2023 and has only added about 50 miles to the odometer. The clean Carfax report confirms no accidents or damage, and it comes with some nice extras like the manufacturer’s literature and a car cover.

These Conquest TSi models were Mitsubishi Starions under the skin, but Chrysler gave them their own identity and flair. Today, clean examples are getting harder to find—especially ones with mileage this low and unmodified widebody styling.
If you’re nostalgic for turbo-era torque and love the mix of analog driving with digital gauges and boxy styling, this one’s worth a look. And with no reserve, someone’s driving this one home.
