X GON’ GIVE IT TO YA: 2022 Jeep® Cherokee X Arrives At Dealers!

Newest Cherokee Off-Road Package Has Arrived...

Although the Jeep® Cherokee (KL) continues to struggle thanks to the semiconductor shortage and a diminished global presence that have been overshadowed by the brand’s own Compass offering, Jeep continues to tweak the Cherokee’s lineup going into the 2022 model year.

It features dual overhead camshafts, high-flow intake and exhaust ports, Variable Valve Timing (VVT), and Electronic Throttle Control as well as ESS technology. It's a Jeep. That decal will be covered with dirt and mud in short order.

Blink and you miss it! 😵 This trim has been cut along with its 3.2 liter V6 according to the 2023 Stellantis Fleet catalog. The current Jeep Cherokee will limp out its remaining life as a four cylinder only, limited option fleet queen, just like the Dodge Journey did in its final season. The 2 liter turbo four is still an option, but just wait to see where that engine shows up in a Jeep model.

Wow.

Hopefully the KM is coming sooner rather than later then.
