Windsor Assembly Plant Hosts Family Day with Charity Car Show

Community Invited to Support United Way at Cars & Coffee Charity Event...

On Sunday, Stellantis’ Windsor Assembly Plant, Windsor’s largest employer, is set to host a special “Family Day” event, welcoming over 4,200 employees and their families to celebrate the plant’s workforce. This dedicated team is responsible for producing the award-winning Chrysler Pacifica and Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and is preparing for the highly anticipated launch of the Dodge Charger Daytona production.

While the Family Day activities are reserved for employees and their families, the general public will have a chance to get involved through a Cars & Coffee Windsor charity car show. The car show will take place on Chrysler Centre Road, adjacent to the plant, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event offers car enthusiasts and the local community a chance to support a good cause, as proceeds from the show will benefit the United Way Windsor-Essex.

What to Expect at the Car Show –

The Cars & Coffee Windsor Charity Car Show will showcase a wide range of vehicles, from classic cars and exotics to Mopars, attracting a diverse group of automotive fans. For those interested in participating, there is a $10 entry fee for each car, with all funds going directly to support the United Way. Attendees are also encouraged to make additional donations if they wish to further contribute to the cause.

The car show promises more than just a display of impressive vehicles. Visitors can enjoy music from a live DJ, explore various vendor booths, and check out the displays from local automotive groups such as Windsor Area Mopar Muscle (WAMM) and 5252, adding a lively and fun atmosphere to the event.

Parking and Spectator Information –

Spectators are welcome to attend the charity car show free of charge. Parking will be available along the side streets of Chrysler Centre Road, allowing easy access for those coming to enjoy the festivities.
