Turbocharged 426 HEMI Challenger Hits The Dyno!

Can This Car Make More Power Than A Hellephant Crate Engine?

Our good friend and MoparInsiders.com contributor R/T Life, has seen a lot of modified modern Mopars over the past two years. One, he recently has seen was a Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker, which has a built 7.0-liter HEMI (426 cubic-inch) V8. The 7.0-liter has been cammed and twin-turbocharged and if that’s not enough to get attention, the HEMI orange Shaker with Mopar graphics across the car will.

With last year’s limited production run of the “Hellephant” 426 cubic-inch Supercharged Mopar Crate HEMI engine making 1,000 horsepower and 950 lb.-ft. of torque, does the twin-turbocharged 7.0-liter Challenger R/T Shaker have what it takes to make similar power? You’ll have to watch the video to find out.

If you find that build interesting, be sure to check out some of the other dyno videos of some other wicked modern Mopars…
