What Can You Do With The Savings From Buying A Ram 1500 Classic?
Epic Adventure Outfitters Show Us Just How Simple & Reasonable Lifting The Classic Can Be...
Many people have questioned the Ram Truck brand on the reason it has decided to keep the aging but still enticing Ram 1500 Classic (DS) pickup in its portfolio of pickups. But the sales numbers of Ram 1500 Classic keep proving that the 13-year-old pickup still performs well for the brand. The Classic model continues to offer an affordable full-size pickup that competes against some of the midsize pickup offerings, for about the same price.
Now, with all that additional savings, it can allow you to build an awesome off-road rig. Our good friends at Epic Adventure Outfitters in Surrey, British Columbia, show us what can be done with a reasonable budget on a 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Crew Cab Warlock 4×4.
Ginger shows us, just how simple, affordable, and tasteful a modest build can be on the Warlock. He equipped this Pentastar-powered pickup with a 4-inch suspension lift with FOX™ shocks from BDS, which provides a great stance for the “big-rig” styled Warlock. To help enhance the look, a set of 20-inch x 10-inch XD Whiplash wheels painted black wrapped in 35×12.50R20 Baja Boss Mud-Terrain rubber were also upfitted.
The simple upgrade, allows the Warlock to take on a whole nother personality without breaking the bank. The lift itself proves to be a better option for this style of pickup than the popular leveling kits that we see most people equip their trucks with. Although suspension lifts involve replacing shock/struts and other components, suspension lifts provide more ground clearance, articulation, the ability to run larger tires, and are proven not to wear out your truck’s suspension as fast as a leveling kit.
