This 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Convertible Looks Amazing!

For $149K, It Could Be Sitting In Your Garage...

Unlike its “pony car” competitors, the Dodge Challenger is the only one without a convertible variant. We have seen a number of Challenger owners over the years, look to the aftermarket for an alternative option. But there are aftermarket options for the Challenger, that are either hit or miss. We have talked about them before, but there is one that is currently for sale at RK Motors Charlotte that caught our attention.

Converted by Droptop Customs in High Springs, Florida (a well-known conversion shop for Challenger convertibles), this TorRed-colored two-door looks simply amazing and ready for warm weather action. This one-owner car only has 70 miles on the odometer.

Beneath that dual-snorkel hood is, of course, the 6.2-liter High-Output (H.O.) HEMI HELLCAT V8. Producing 797 horsepower and 707 lb.-ft. of torque, the H.O. HEMI HELLCAT V8 is mated to a lightning fast-shifting 8HP90 8-speed automatic transmission sourced from ZF. An anti-slip differential tries to help keep the massive HEMIs power under control. For added performance, there is the addition of Launch Control, Launch Assist, Competition Suspension with Adaptive Damping, SRT Configurable Drive Modes, and 4-wheel power disc brakes with 6-piston Brembo front calipers and red rear calipers.

From the factory, the car includes the following options…

  • Driver Convenience Group – $1,295
    • Blind-Spot and Rear Cross-Path Detection
    • High-Intensity Discharge Headlamps
    • Power Multi-Function Mirrors with Manual Fold-Away
  • 20-Inch x 9.5-Inch Matte Vapor SRT Aluminum Wheels – $1,095

Besides adding the white power top with chassis reinforcements, Droptop Customs also added a glass backlight and power rear windows, as well. But that’s not all, there is also a custom white leather interior with white leather on the seats, center console lid, and door inserts. A set of twin white side stripes adorn the side of the car and feature the Hellcat logo, just to let those know that this car is something different.

RK Motors Charlotte is currently asking $149,900 (not including taxes and any other fees). While it is a steep price for a Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, this car will definitely be a stand out at most car show and cars and coffee events.
