Thieves Attempt To Steal Two Jeep® Wagoneers From Warren Truck Assembly Plant!
Both Vehicles Recovered...
On Tuesday, WWJ NEWSRADIO 950 in Detroit reported that there was another attempt to steal vehicles from a holding lot at the Stellantis Warren Truck Assembly Plant (WTAP) in Warren, Michigan.
According to the report, thieves attempted to make off with two brand-new Jeep® Grand Wagoneer/Wagoneer (WS) SUVs by breaking through the facility’s front security gate.

A video from reporter Charlie Langton, showed one Bright White Grand Wagoneer and another Bright White Wagoneer in the process of being towed away across the street from the WTAP facility. The video showed heavy damage to the security, but no other details were provided.
A number of Stellantis assembly plants from around the Metro Detroit area have been dealing with thiefs for a number of years.
Just last month, three minors, aged 11, 12, and 14, were caught trying to steal vehicles from a holding lot at the Detroit Assembly Complex – Jefferson (formerly Jefferson North) facility.
