There Still Are Plenty Of 2022 Dodge HEMI Orange Cars Out There!
Why Wait Till 2023, You Can Get One Now...
Just a few days ago, we discussed Dodge’s plan to bring back its popular HEMI® Orange Appearance Package for the 2023 Dodge Charger and Challenger. The HEMI Orange Appearance Package is offered on GT RWD and Scat Pack Widebody models for both vehicles and is one of our favorite styling packages for either car.
For those who don’t care about grabbing a final-year version of current muscle cars, there are still a number of 2022 HEMI Orange Appearance Package cars on dealer lots.
The package pays homage to the legendary 426 HEMI that powered many of the Dodge muscle cars during the late-1960s and early-1970s. The HEMI Orange Appearance Package creates a unique, Orange and Black combination of accents that transform both the exterior and interior.
We just wish Dodge would have added the package to the entry-level HEMI R/T models.
On the exterior, an Orange accent tracer complements vehicle-length Gunmetal striping, while Orange outlines the Midnight Grey Metallic grille and fender badging. On Scat Pack Widebody, Orange Brembo® 6-piston calipers contrast with the 20-Inch x 11-Inch Carbon Black “Warp Speed” wheels, while Orange Brembo 4-piston calipers with 20-Inch x 9-Inch Medium Gloss Black wheels are on GT RWD models.
Inside, Orange stitching embellishes the instrument panel (I/P), door uppers and armrest, console lid, shifter boot, and leather flat-bottom steering wheel. The seats also sport Orange stitching, as well as, a monochromatic Dodge “Rhombi” seatback logo. For Scat Pack Widebody models, an Orange and Black “392” I/P badge decorates the inside. Blacked-out interior modifications include the steering wheel bezels, shifter body, cluster trim, cup holder, and vent rings.
This particular 2022 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody HEMI Orange car is currently in inventory at Griffin’s Hub Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In White Knuckle paint, the HEMI Orange package really shines.
With the 2022 model year coming to an end next month, there is a chance of getting a deal on one of these leftover cars. Just remember, if dealers are still marking up the prices on current inventory, don’t be afraid to barter or walk away if a dealer doesn’t want to give you a fair price for the vehicle.
And for those trying to decide whether to wait for a 2023 model or not, the only difference between the two model years is a “Last Call” plaque under the hood of the 2023 version.
The HEMI Orange Appearance Package has a U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $2,995 for GT RWD (includes the Performance Handling Package) with Brembo 4-piston calipers and 20-inch x 9-inch wheels), and $1,500 for Scat Pack Widebody models.
