Over the past few weeks, we have been watching YouTuber Westen Champlin and his wrecked Cummins-powered 2019 Ram 2500 Big Horn that he bought at auction. The low mileage new 2019 Ram 2500 went to auction after being hit on the passenger side and while it looked like a simple fix, the last few videos have shown us that Westen and his buddies had a lot more work on the truck, then throwing a couple of new doors on the truck.
In his most recent videos, Westen has found a replacement front door and front fender for his Big Horn. However, it wouldn’t be a project if you didn’t run into a few issues. The first was finding parts for the updated fourth-generation Ram Heavy Duty trucks since the trucks are still relatively new. Another issue he ran into is blending the factory paint on the new parts to match the paint job he performed at home.
Westen’s videos have shown us that if you are willing to put some elbow grease into something and have some patience, you not only have the ability to save money from doing work yourself, but you can sure have fun doing it. Its good to see the progress on this once scrapped 2019 Ram Heavy Duty and watch it be returned to its recent glory. We will continue to watch his build, as he gets ready to modify the fixed truck in the near future.
