This 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Sold For $286,000

Rare Configuration, Goes For BIG Money At Mecum Kissimmee...

The 1,025 horsepower 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 wasn’t the only Demon fetching over $200,000 across the Mecum Kissimmee 2024 auction block. One 2018 model sold for an amazing $260,000, or $286,000 after fees when it crossed the auction block on Thursday. But why the huge amount for the 840 horsepower Demon when the Demon 170 produces more power?

In 2018, Dodge released the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon with an amazing 15 different exterior colors to choose from. Among the colors were B5 Blue, Billet Silver Metallic, Destroyer Grey, F8 Green, Go Mango, Granite Crystal Metallic, IndiGo Blue, Maximum Steel Metallic, Octane Red, Pitch Black, Plum Crazy, Redline Tri-Coat, TorRed, White Knuckle, and Yellow Jacket.

While Dodge produced 3,367 units in total (including pilot vehicles) of the 2018 Demon, only 33 of them left the Brampton factory painted in Maximum Steel Metallic, making it the rarest color combination on the Demon for that year. Out of those 33 units, 31 were for the U.S. market, and 2 were sold in Canada.

On top of that, the car only had 30 miles on the odometer when it crossed the block and was equipped with the following equipment:

    • Child Seat Upper Tether Anchorages
    • Luxury Front and Rear Floor Mats
