FIRST DRIVE: 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12A Package:

We Drive Ram's Half-Ton Off-Roader Loaded With Tech...

Thanks to our friends at White Rock Dodge, 5thGenRams.com finally got a chance to drive a 2019 Ram Rebel Crew Cab 4×4 equipped with the Rebel 12A package. It has been one of the most talked about packages in the truck industry. Unlike the original Rebel 12 Special Edition which brought the 12.1-Inch Uconnect touchscreen into the Rebel with the addition Harman Kardon with 19 premium speakers, 900-watt surround-sound amplifier, 10-inch subwoofer and active noise cancellation, the new package does not include the premium sound system. However, the Rebel 12A package can now be equipped with the Alpine 9-Speaker sound system with subwoofer.

The Ram 1500 Rebel Crew Cab 4×4 was exceptionally smooth and compliant on the road, something we didn’t really expect for a factory off-road truck. The cabin was quiet as with other Ram 1500 models. I found the factory Goodyear Duratracs to be quite a bit quieter than the Toyo Open Country Extreme all-terrain tires on the last Canadian Ram 1500 Sport I tested.

I was also joined for this video by Jovita, president of the Canadian Mopar Club for her thoughts on the truck so check out the video above for our in-depth thoughts and impressions.
