Dodge Power Dollars Pushes Brand Past Goal Two Months Early:

Tomorrow, Is The Last Day To Order A 2019 Charger, Challenger, Or Durango...

Back on August 1st, Dodge announced it’s “Dodge Power Dollars” campaign which gave potential buyers $10 per horsepower in cash allowance for its 2019 Dodge Charger, Challenger, or Durango models. Since then, Dodge is seeing some of the best results in sales in years on certain models.

Since the launch of the campaign, the four-door Dodge Charger had its highest third-quarter sales in 13 years and putting it on pace to lead the U.S. large car segment for the third consecutive year. The retro Dodge Challenger also reported record third-quarter sales outselling the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. That leaves the “Charger of SUVs”, the sporty three-row Dodge Durango, which is on track to having its best sales year since 2005, according to Dodge.

The campaign has been such a hit, that Dodge has actually past its initial goal of 500 million horsepower, two months ahead of schedule. But that isn’t stopping America’s performance brand. The brand has announced it extended the campaign on 2019 Charger, Challenger, and Durango models in dealer inventories until January 2nd, 2020. However, there is a catch. If you want a particular 2019 model, you must place your order by the end of tomorrow on those models, because 2019 model year ordering ends officially Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019. So if you want to take advantage of a particular car with the discounts, you got to get to your local Dodge dealer and order immediately. This includes your absolute last chance to get a non-Widebody 2019 Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT.

“‘Dodge Power Dollars’ has more than exceeded our expectations, giving a huge boost to Dodge performance across the country and helping us reach our goal of putting a half-billion horsepower into the hands of our loyal enthusiast by the end of the year,” said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “These Dodge muscle cars are attracting a new generation of shoppers who are drawn to the performance, attitude, and personality of the Dodge brand – a brand that continues to differentiate itself within the car segment. This is the golden age of muscle cars.”

Dodge did announce today, that it is planning on thanking its fans for the extra boost with a special social media event. The brand announced that details will be dropped next week. With the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show being held from November 5th to the 8th, we wouldn’t be surprised if Dodge has some kind of special announcement parallel with SEMA. So stay tuned.
