Created By Jeep fabricator Greg Henderson (@unofficialuseonly)...

Quadratec, the world’s largest independent retailer of parts and accessories for Jeep® vehicles, unveiled its new custom 2022 Jeep Wrangler two-door pickup truck known as “JTe” to commemorate the company’s 30-plus years of progress and innovation servicing the Jeep aftermarket. This one-of-a-kind vehicle build will assist in Quadratec’s “50-for-50” Trail Clean Up Initiative in partnership with the non-profit company Tread Lightly!

Built by our friend and renowned Jeep fabricator Greg Henderson (@unofficialuseonly), the JTe began life as a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4xe and was cut behind the front doors before a factory Gladiator truck bed and factory Mopar body replacement panels were added. The JTe is clad in custom “Quadratec” green paint by Red’s Bodyworks and has been equipped with top-of-the-line performance parts and recovery gear to transform it into a true, trail clean-up support vehicle.

“As you’ll see all around SEMA this year, electrification is more than just a trend, it is here to stay,” said Eric Ammerman, JTe Project Director and Quadratec’s Director of Creative Content. “Our JTe hybrid Gladiator has an amazing appeal to two-door truck lovers and its hybrid powertrain provides excellent sustainability. Plus, its bed is 10.5-inches longer than a standard Gladiator, which will provide plenty of space for Tread Lightly! trail project cleanups over the next two years.”

The Quadratec JTe is outfitted with a Lynx 2.5-inch Suspension Lift with adjustable control arms and Steersmarts steering components. It features bronze 17-inch Lynx TrailGunner wheels wrapped in 37-inch Nitto Recon Grappler tires for improved performance over rough terrain and upgraded Carnivore front and rear bumpers.

A Lost Canyon Bed Rack and Rooftop tent were added with custom, modular mounts for a jack and Rotopax water containers. Quadratec equipped the JTe for the trail with a RES-Q Winch with synthetic line and remote solenoid under the bed for rear recovery. Quadratec’s J5 50-inch LED lightbar provides additional lighting for improved trail vision and features Oracle Lighting flush-mounted LED taillights.

The interior displays custom-embroidered Katzkin 4xe edition seats for superior comfort and an Alpine 9-inch Multimedia Dash Restyle System. Quadratec’s Ultimate All-Weather Floor Liners fit seamlessly and protect the Jeep’s floor from dirt and debris. Overland Outfitters supplied custom storage bags to keep gear safe.

I wish they would make a 2 door Gladiator. It would make having a Jeep truck more affordable and also it just plain looks cooler and it saves space or allows for a longer bed. I would never buy a 4 door truck.

The fact that Jeep put a poll out on their Instagram about a 2 door JT is very interesting
