2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Gets Boost In Horsepower For New Model Year:

Charger SRT Hellcat Models Now Comes Standard With 717 Horsepower...

While the new 797 horsepower 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye might be the “king” of the Charger lineup for the new model year, the standard Charger SRT Hellcat model returns with some generous updates for 2021. Those updates include a boost in horsepower, some new standard features, and a new hood design.

The 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat matches its Challenger sibling in the horsepower department for 2021. That means, that in order to get a boost of horsepower you don’t need to order a special edition vehicle like the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat 50th Anniversary Daytona. Instead, all 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat models yield a 10 horsepower boost, to deliver 717 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. This was achieved by increasing the shift points to 6,100 rpm in automatic mode.

Still only offered in the Widebody configuration, the 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat receives a newly designed performance hood that looks even more sinister and provides maximum air intake to the supercharged power plant from the functional hood scoop to boost power.

The 2021 Charger SRT Hellcat comes standard with Laguna leather seats with an embossed SRT Hellcat logo. With the Alcantara Appearance Package, the Laguna leather seats add Alcantara and again features an embossed SRT Hellcat logo.

The Carbon & Suede Package, adds real carbon fiber accents to the instrument panel and console bezels and Dinamica suede headliner, sun visors, and A-pillars giving the Hellcat a more performance-oriented interior feel.

Charger SRT Hellcat customers can order dual-center, full-length, exterior stripes covering the front and rear fascias, roof, decklid in red, blue, silver, Gunmetal Gray, or Carbon. The Satin Black Appearance Package, available on Charger SRT Hellcat adds a hand-painted Satin Black hood, roof, decklid, and spoiler, enhancing the Charger’s sinister look.
