LEAKED: Build Sheets Confirm 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten Features!

Confirms Twin-Turbocharged Hurricane H.O. Powertrain...

Over the past week, we’ve been discussing the highly anticipated 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten, an all-new ultra-premium trim that aims to elevate the Ram 1500 against rival offerings such as the GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate and Ford F-150 Limited. Excitingly, Pickup Truck Plus SUV Talk, a popular YouTube channel, has managed to obtain one of the build sheets for the new Tungsten prototype pickups currently being tested by Ram engineers. These build sheets provide crucial insights into what we can expect from the vehicle. So, let’s delve deeper into the Tungsten and examine how this new information aligns with our existing sources.

The specific truck in question carries the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 1C6SRFKP9SN500103 and comes equipped with the Level 1 Equipment Group. Judging from the current lineup, the Ram 1500 Limited offers a Level 1 Equipment package, and we anticipate the Tungsten will follow suit, providing even more comfort options. It’s worth noting that while the Tradesman, Big Horn, Lone Star, Laramie, and TRX models offer at least two equipment packages, the Limited only offers the Level 1 Equipment package.

Some important details shared about the interior features have been confirmed by the build sheets. We can expect the Tungsten to boast an Indigo/Sea Salt interior color scheme, complemented by premium leather bucket seats up front. Both rows of seating will feature heated and ventilated seats, while the front seats will incorporate leather pockets on the back. The Tungsten will also include Ram’s full-length center console, although a front bench option won’t be available. Furthermore, the build sheets confirm that the front seats will feature four-way power headrests and massage functions for both the driver and front passenger.

The build sheets also indicate that this particular truck is equipped for towing, featuring the Trailer-Tow Group, Towing Technology Group, Chrome Power Folding Towing Mirrors borrowed from the Heavy Duty trucks (as seen in recent spy photos), and a 240-amp alternator.

However, the most significant news confirmed by the build sheets is the inclusion of the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane H.O. inline-six-cylinder engine with Engine Stop/Start (ESS) technology. While it has been no secret that the Hurricane6 engines would eventually replace the HEMI engine lineup, the build sheets now confirm that this transition will occur with the 2025 refresh. So, it might be worth considering a 2023 or 2024 model for those who are fond of the HEMI engines.

The Hurricane H.O. engine generates an impressive 510 horsepower and 500 lb.-ft. of torque, surpassing the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 by 115 horsepower and 90 lb.-ft. of torque. The Hurricane H.O. will be paired with the same 8HP75 8-speed automatic transmission found in the current HEMI models, ensuring smooth and rapid shifts that we have come to expect from Ram.

With the information from the build sheets aligning with our existing sources, it appears that our predictions have been accurate thus far. We anticipate that the internal combustion engine (ICE) version of the Ram 1500 will make its debut, most likely at this year’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, scheduled for December.

Nice to see that trim come back, so what’s new for 2024 then nothing? I also believe they are going to call it a Dodge Ram again and add the crosshair grill in the absents of the Classic.

Hopefully they add the 392 hemi aswell with Regcab short box. nice to dream

So all this an they didn’t add rear massage seats ? Is led interior lighting now up upgraded? ( hopefully not a typical 4-5 color option) imo this top trim should have those items & these oddly missing ones standard especially given the price they & the dealer will charge for the “NMY”.
