Wrecked Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition Shows Up On Copart:

717 Horsepower Widebody Sedan, Shows Up On Auction Website...

We have talked a lot in recent months about the new 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition. We caught some dealers adding $25,000 markups on the new limited-edition four-door Dodge muscle car, but that might not be the only news surrounding the 717 horsepower Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition.

With only 501 copies built between the United States and Canada, the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition has just become even rarer. This past week, we received several e-mails from our readers telling us that one of the 501 cars has shown us on Copart.com, the widely popular auction site for wrecked and salvaged vehicles.

With only 296 miles on the odometer, this Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition has some pretty good damage done to the front end of the car. While the 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 looks alright under the hood, we can see the front structural support from the front of the engine forward is bend pretty well. Both the driver and passenger-side airbags have also been deployed as well, so this is more than just an easy a bumper on and its fixed kind of job.

The car is located in Van Nuys, California according to the website and has a retail sticker price of $78,732. The car features the blue Daytona stripe, an exclusive to White Knuckle-colored Daytona 50th Anniversary Editions. Unfortunately, the VIN number has been partially hidden by Copart, so we can’t figure out the exact number in the series it is. However, it appears the car has yet to be assigned a sale date, so this will be an auction to watch for.

Currently, the car has been assigned the lot number of #28351320 on the Copart.com system. We will continue to watch the auction, to see just how much this limited-edition Dodge Charger goes for if it indeed gets sold. So stay tuned.
