Jeep® Launches ‘Dents’ Marketing Campaign For Grand Cherokee

“Dents” To Run Across Television And The Jeep’s YouTube Channel...

In the realm of rugged, all-terrain vehicles, none have a legacy quite like the Jeep® Grand Cherokee (WL). Since its inception in 1992, the Grand Cherokee has served as a steadfast companion to adventurers, explorers, and families seeking unforgettable off-road experiences. Now, as the year 2023 unfolds, Jeep is taking a nostalgic journey down memory lane with its latest marketing campaign, appropriately titled “Dents.” This heartfelt campaign pays homage to the cherished dents and dings that tell the stories of countless off-road adventures experienced by Jeep 4×4 owners.

Launching across various media channels, including television, social media, and the Jeep brand’s YouTube channel, “Dents” is more than just a marketing strategy—it’s a celebration of the indomitable spirit of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Marissa Hunter, Senior Vice President of Stellantis North America, sums it up perfectly: “For our owners, their Jeep Grand Cherokee is much more than a mode of transportation; it is a member of their family playing a pivotal role in their own life journey.”

This campaign beautifully captures the emotional connection that Jeep owners have with their vehicles. It’s not just about owning a car; it’s about embracing a lifestyle and creating memories that last a lifetime. In “Dents,” we witness the Grand Cherokee evolving through its family’s life stages, with each dent and scratch symbolizing another chapter in their adventurous journey.

Jim Morrison, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep North America, notes, “Since 1992, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has been enabling adventures.” And now, with the 2024 lineup featuring the 2-row Grand Cherokee, 3-row Grand Cherokee L, and the electrified Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid, the legacy of adventure continues to grow stronger.

In particular, the electrified Grand Cherokee 4xe is a testament to Jeep’s commitment to innovation. Offering 25 miles of all-electric range and an impressive 56 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe), this SUV is eco-conscious and a powerhouse on and off the road, with 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. The Grand Cherokee 4xe Trailhawk, the most capable in its class, even conquered the challenging Rubicon Trail under all-electric power, showcasing its remarkable capabilities.

Jeep celebrates the timeless tradition of passing down the keys as the campaign coincides with the start of a new school year. Many young college students will embark on their own adventures, driving the family Grand Cherokee and creating their own set of cherished memories.

The “Dents” campaign was born through a collaboration with Chicago-based agency Highdive, ensuring that the message of Jeep’s enduring legacy and the bond between owners and their vehicles is expertly conveyed.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee “Dents” campaign highlights the Grand Cherokee’s remarkable journey through the years and invites us all to reflect on our own experiences and the stories etched into the dents and dings of our lives. It serves as a reminder that life’s greatest adventures are often marked by the imperfections and scars that make each moment uniquely ours. Jeep Grand Cherokee owners aren’t just driving vehicles; they’re driving the pursuit of unforgettable experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
