Digital Artist Creates A True Modern Dodge Charger Daytona With A Retro Twist

Blending Modern Day eMuscle With The Elements Of The Past...

Renowned digital artist Jon Sibal (@jonsibal) has created a striking reinterpretation of the all-new, all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona. While the initial reveal of the Charger Daytona garnered mixed reactions due to its departure from traditional HEMI® V8 power, Sibal’s vision injects a fresh dose of excitement into Dodge’s new e-muscle car.

Sibal’s rendition of the Charger Daytona pays homage to its illustrious heritage while embracing cutting-edge design elements and performance enhancements. The focal point of his redesign is a meticulously crafted widebody kit, which accentuates the Charger’s already imposing stance and muscular silhouette.

Sibal’s design features an aggressive aerodynamic front lip, incorporating elements reminiscent of the legendary 1969 model. Adding a touch of modern nostalgia, he also included yellow shipping protectors, affectionately referred to as “bananas,” on the edges of that front lip spoiler.

To achieve an even more aggressive stance, Sibal integrates an aggressive air suspension system, allowing for precise control over ride height and handling characteristics. The slammed look further enhances the Charger’s presence on the road, commanding attention.

Continuing the theme of classic-meets-modern, Sibal outfits the Charger Daytona with 3-piece steplip wheels, showcasing a blend of timeless design and contemporary aesthetics. These custom wheels not only enhance the car’s visual appeal but also contribute to its performance capabilities.

However, the pièce de résistance of Sibal’s redesign is undoubtedly the old-school Daytona-inspired rear wing, reminiscent of the iconic aerodynamic appendage that adorned its predecessor. This striking feature not only pays homage to the Charger’s racing heritage but also enhances its aerodynamic efficiency, ensuring optimal performance on both the road and track.

Sibal’s reinterpretation of the Charger Daytona highlights the limitless potential for customization and personalization in the automotive aftermarket. Considering the aftermarket options for the outgoing Charger, it will be interesting to see what will come to the new model.
