We Traded In Our 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320…

But The Replacement Is Going To Be A Ton Of Fun!

Yesterday, was a very bittersweet day for me as I ended up trading what was supposed to be our long-term 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320 in with our good friends and sponsor White Rock Dodge.

Don’t get me wrong, I think that the 1320 is an absolutely amazing car and it does exactly what Dodge built it for. Nowhere else can you get a street/strip muscle car that can tear up a dragstrip and be a comfortable cruiser the way that the 1320 does. That said, I never fully connected with the car the way I was expecting to. We had some paint issues as most of our readers know, FCA was great and stepped up to the plate right away wanting to get the issue resolved. I don’t fault them at all and they handled it very well, that said having a brand new car with a bunch of paintwork done to it after the fact just didn’t sit right with me.

There were some other reasons for the decision to get rid of it as well, for all those as well as a quick teaser of the new MoparInsiders.com long-term test vehicle, check out the video above. I think our readers are going to be very excited about the new vehicle, which yes we will be keeping long-term.
