Prefix Cars & Coffee Event – Tomorrow:

Engineering & Design Company Has Strong Alliance With The Mopar Community...

Prefix Corporation began in 1979 as an engineering services company, developing innovative design and engineering solutions for the automotive industry. Continuously owned and operated by the same founding family, today the company operates multiple facilities in Michigan with over 200 employees, and has become a single-source American manufacturing, prototype, and concept vehicle solutions provider to automotive, aviation, motion picture, amusement, and a variety of additional industries.

You might think what does Prefix have to do with FCA? The answer is a lot. Prefix is the company who did all of the painting of the GEN V Viper for FCA, created in-house custom Mopars like the Dodge Viper Madusa (a convertible version of the GEN V Viper), Dodge Viper Targa (a Targa version of the GEN V Viper) and the awesome Ram Minotaur off-road truck. They have also done a lot of other development for FCA, including assembling the 2017 Chrysler Portal Concept. Prefix also bought Arrow Racing Engines, the company that tunes Viper motors and now race HEMIs back in 2014. Sadly, that’s only a faction of the Mopar connection of Prefix.
