RENDERING: Two-Door Full-Size Ramcharger TRX SUV Rendering!

Hellcat-Power, Two-Door, Performance Off-Road SUV...

Over the past couple of years, we have seen a number of renderings from various digital artists of an SUV take on the Ram 1500. A modern-day Ramcharger continues to be one of the most popular renderings we have seen and this latest one from Jim Lord (@jlord8), has us agreeing that a modern Ramcharger would simply be awesome.

A modern-day Ramcharger has been at the top of the wish list for many Mopar fans. With the Jeep® brand getting its new full-size SUV twins (Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer), people have been wondering if another brand will get its own full-size SUV variant.

Although it seems that Ram will be sticking with pickups and commercial vans, a two-door Ramcharger design shows us just how handsome a TRX-based SUV would be. While a two-door model seems very unlikely to make it to production in a time of four-door SUVs, there are still plenty of people out there who would ultimately prefer a two-door model.

The last time a Ramcharger model was produced was from 1999 to 2001. Made exclusively for the Mexican marketplace, the third-generation Ramcharger shared its architecture and most of its components with the 1994 to 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 (BR) models. It also took some components from the third-generation minivans to complete the manufacturing process. Since then, a few handfuls of Mexican-market Ramchargers have made it stateside and in the hands of collectors.

What do you think about a Ram-based full-size SUV? Would you like to see a modern-day Ramcharger? Let us know in the comments below.
