The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Has Begun To Arrive At Dealerships:

Chrysler's Updated Minivan Looks To Compete Outside The Minivan Segment...

It’s the week of Christmas and Chrysler dealers around the United States and Canada are celebrating early with the arrival of the first batch of the revised 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica kicked off production just over a month ago, in early November at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Windsor, Ontario. The updated Pacifica looks to push the minivan forward into today’s market, not just competing with other minivans but taking on the latest crossovers and SUVs as well.

For the 2021 model year, the Chrysler Pacifica has undergone more than just a small mid-cycle-action (MCA). The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica offers a new top-of-the-line luxury model with the Pinnacle, a return to offering all-wheel-drive (AWD) for the first time since 2004, and the latest in infotainment with the next-generation Uconnect 5 connectivity.

Chrysler’s Pacifica Hybrid continues to offer best-in-class efficiency, delivering more than 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) in electric-only mode. Electric-only mode allows the Pacifica Hybrid to run more than 30 miles on just electric power and gives the Pacifica a total range of more than 500 miles.

The Pacifica is a job well done, encouraging in it’s accomplished result, but a job half done. It is half done if a spin off SUV is not designed and built on the same architecture, on the same assembly line and the Chrysler brand suffers dearly. Am I alone in this thinking, do I stand alone with this logic or are there others who see a job half done? The original Pacifica SUV followed this path and logic. Indeed it set the standard for all crossovers to come and is still a competent vehicle even by today’s standards. Time to get the job fully done and the blueprint is right in the archives at Chrysler.
