Steve Beahm Retires From FCA, Company Looking For New Leader For Dodge & Chrysler:

Beahm Retires After 32 Years With The Company...

Yesterday, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced that Christian Meunier is named Global President of the Jeep® brand. However, that isn’t the only news happening behind the scenes in Auburn Hills, Michigan at the company’s North American headquarters. According to an article from the Detroit Free Press, Head of Passenger Cars, Dodge//SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA North America and Head of Mopar North America, Steve Beahm has retired from the company as of last week.

Steve Beahm, at the SEMA Show with the “4×4 / SUV of the Year” award, captured by the Jeep® Wrangler for the ninth consecutive year.

While FCA has not announced the news officially yet, Beahm’s biography page is missing from both the FCA media site and FCA corporate site.

Before taking the lead job for the Chrysler and Dodge brands, as well as the lead for Mopar in North America, Mr. Beahm served as Head of Maserati North America at FCA, and previously lead the Supply Chain Management group in North America. He also held a series of positions in the U.S. sales organization. Mr. Beahm served as Vice President of U.S. Sales Operations at Chrysler Group. He joined Chrysler in 1987. Beahm served as the Director of Field Operations in the Sales Organization of Chrysler Motors LLC since January 2006 and also served as its Senior Manager of Marketing Analysis and Programs.

Beahm, not only as an executive leader but as a car enthusiast, lead the Dodge brand to create some awesome products over the last year such as the 797 horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT HELLCAT Redeye. There is no doubt, that FCA will try to put another passionate patrol head in the top spot for the brand as they have for the past couple of changes of leadership that has included, Head of FCA Design Ralph Gilles, Head of Jeep® North America and Alfa Romeo, Tim Kuniskis, and Head of Ram Trucks and FCA Canada, Reid Bigland.

FCA has currently put Mark Bosanac in charge of the Mopar brand in North America. Bosanac was previously head of supply chain management and global parts supply chain management and operations for North America operations.
