Stellantis to Debut Two Commercials During Super Bowl LIX

Automaker Returns to the Big Game with Two High-Stakes Commercials...

After sitting out last year’s Super Bowl, Stellantis (FCA US) is making a big comeback with not one but two commercials set to air during Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9, 2025. The automaker has announced that both the Jeep® and Ram brands will take center stage during the highly anticipated event, marking a return to the spotlight for a company known for producing some of the most memorable Super Bowl ads over the past two decades.

The Jeep brand will debut its new ad during the game’s broadcast, promising to deliver another iconic moment for the storied off-road brand. Meanwhile, the Ram brand is set to showcase its own commercial during the second quarter’s two-minute break. While Stellantis hasn’t shared specific details about the themes of these commercials, expectations are high, given the automaker’s history of producing emotionally charged and culturally significant ads.

A Legacy of Memorable Commercials –

Stellantis has a long history of Super Bowl success, crafting ads that resonate with millions of viewers. Notable examples include the 2011 Chrysler “Imported From Detroit” ad featuring Eminem, which highlighted Detroit’s resilience during the Great Recession, and the 2013 Ram “God Made A Farmer” ad, which honored America’s farmers with a heartfelt narration by Paul Harvey.

During Super Bowl XLIX, Dodge also left its mark with the “Wisdom” ad, celebrating the brand’s 100th anniversary with centenarians delivering life lessons while showcasing the enduring legacy of Dodge performance.

In 2020, Jeep delivered another fan-favorite with its “Groundhog Day” commercial featuring Bill Murray reprising his role as Phil Connors from the classic movie. The ad, which aired on Groundhog Day, showcased the Jeep Gladiator as Murray’s character used the truck to turn an endless loop of repeated days into a new adventure. This nostalgic yet humorous spot won praise for its creativity and perfectly timed release, becoming one of the most talked-about commercials of the year.

FOX, the network broadcasting Super Bowl LIX, reportedly asked for over $7 million for a 30-second spot this year. Advertisers were also required to commit to larger advertising packages to secure a spot during the game, making Stellantis’ dual-brand approach a significant investment.

With nearly all the ad time sold, the Jeep and Ram commercials are poised to stand out among a star-studded lineup of ads, continuing Stellantis’ tradition of creating buzzworthy moments.

When to Watch –

Super Bowl LIX will air on FOX on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Fans can expect Jeep’s ad earlier in the game, while Ram’s will play during the second quarter.
