Stellantis Canada Marks 100 Years with Massive Celebration in Windsor
Family Day Honors Century of Canadian Vehicle Production at Windsor Assembly

Stellantis Canada threw a massive Family Day event yesterday at the Windsor Assembly Plant to celebrate a huge milestone — 100 years of operations in Canada. While the company officially marked its centennial on June 17th, Sunday’s event was all about bringing together employees, retirees, and their families for a full day of appreciation and celebration.

An estimated 8,000 people attended the event, which packed in everything from history to horsepower. One of the day’s biggest draws was the Cars & Coffee car show along Chrysler Centre Road, featuring nearly 200 vehicles from the past and present. The show was open to the public, with proceeds benefiting the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village through $10-per-vehicle donations.

Inside the Windsor Assembly Plant grounds, guests were treated to adrenaline-pumping thrill rides courtesy of Roadkill Nights powered by Dodge. Kids (and adults) got to test their slapshot skills in the Dodge Caravan Kids Fan Zone, while a commemorative mural signing gave attendees a chance to be part of the plant’s ongoing legacy.

Local vendors sold food and merchandise, and live music kept the atmosphere festive throughout the day. Guided plant tours for employee families and retirees offered a behind-the-scenes look at how Stellantis continues to build in Windsor after a full century of Canadian manufacturing.
