The updated pricing structure aligns with Ram’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the competitive Canadian truck market. “We know how important Ram trucks are to the Canadian market, and we intentionally reduced pricing on the new 2025 Ram 1500 to offer tremendous savings and value for Canadian consumers,” said Chris Feuell, CEO of Ram and Chrysler brands. “Our class-leading lineup of half-ton trucks features the award-winning, more powerful, and efficient all-new 3.0-litre Hurricane family of engines.”

The new price reduction applies to various trim levels, making popular models like the Big Horn and Laramie more attainable while offering advanced features and technology. The repositioning also enhances the appeal of new special editions like the Luxury Tungsten and Rebel Sport, allowing more Canadians to enjoy Ram’s renowned durability, comfort, and capability.

The 2025 Ram 1500 lineup continues to offer diverse powertrain options to meet various needs, including the award-winning 3.0-litre Hurricane standard-output (S/O) and 3.0-litre Hurricane high-output (H/O) I6 engines from the Stellantis Global Medium Engine (GME) family. These engines, known for their performance and efficiency, are their class’s most powerful six-cylinder options.

The S/O engine generates 420 horsepower and 469 lb.-ft. of torque, while the H/O version ramps up to 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engine choices are engineered to deliver impressive power and towing capacity, with the 2025 Ram 1500 capable of towing up to 5,253 kilograms (11,580 pounds) and carrying a payload of up to 1,043 kilograms (2,300 pounds).

In addition to the Hurricane engines, the Ram 1500 retains the reliable 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 with eTorque, offering a balance of power and fuel efficiency that Canadian customers appreciate.

Advanced Features and Enhanced Value –

Beyond the new price points, the 2025 Ram 1500 is packed with advanced technology, safety features, and comfort options that enhance the driving experience. The lineup includes models equipped for off-road adventure like the Rebel and luxury-focused trims like the Tungsten. Ram also emphasizes features like advanced towing aids, high-strength steel frames, and up to 61 centimetres (24 inches) of water fording capability, ensuring the trucks are ready for challenging Canadian conditions.

Why the Price Reduction Matters –

The reduction in starting prices is a strategic move by Stellantis Canada to maintain a competitive edge in the truck market, particularly as economic pressures like rising interest rates impact vehicle affordability. This new pricing makes the 2025 Ram 1500 more attractive to consumers seeking a blend of strength, innovation, and value in their next pickup.

With the repositioned prices, Ram aims to deliver better value without compromising the performance, comfort, or reliability that the brand is known for. The 2025 Ram 1500 lineup continues to offer Canadians a broad range of options, from work-ready models to luxury-grade pickups, making it easier for buyers to find a model that fits their needs and budget.
