SPOTTED: We Get A Better Look At The Updated Alfa Romeo Giulia!
Giulia Refresh Is Getting Close To Debut...
The Alfa Romeo brand has been on a roll recently. With the recent addition of the all-new 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale C-SUV, the Italian marque is getting ready to launch a new B-SUV, and refreshed version of its Stelvio and Giulia models to help hold the brand over until their electrified replacements arrive in 2025 and 2026, respectively.
Until then, the current Giulia lineup will continue to soldier on with a few mid-cycle action (MCA) updates. A couple of months ago, we were treated with some low-resolution photos of some 2023 model year pilot models that came down the assembly line at the Stellantis Cassino plant in Italy.
Now, we are starting to see the updated models out testing on public roads in Italy. Our good friend Walter Vayr of GabetzSPYUnit, happened upon this updated Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce Q4 as it was tested near Stellantis facilities.
While the exterior aesthetic changes seem to be minimal, it appears that the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo design team is looking to update the Giulia with the new design cues of the all-new 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale C-SUV. This 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce Q4, is hiding its new LED matrix headlamps with black tape.
Even more black tape helps to hide smaller detail changes to the front fascia, which include a newly styled “Scudetto” grille, a new grille mesh texture, and Quadrifoglio-inspired front air intakes into the corners of lower grille openings. At the rear of the vehicle, is a new set of LED taillamps that are clearly inspired by the Tonale.
There should also be some changes to the interior as well. Other leaked images confirmed that both the Giulia and Stelvio will adopt the new 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. We have also been hearing about some new higher-quality materials that will be used throughout the interior.
When it comes to engines, we expect the 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia to carry over its current offerings. This will mark the last time to get a Giulia with an internal combustion engine (ICE), as the next-generation sedan will be exclusively a battery-electric vehicle (BEV).
